Ronnie Smith Buyers Club #1 @ Broken Spoke (11/05/2010)
You’d think, with the Sam Bentley Band and Kevin Fowler both playing at one venue for such a great cause that there would be pictures other than just the band. Well, if you did think that, you’d be right. Here are a few we snapped around the club.
The proceeds from this fund raiser will ALL be used to benefit the Travis and Hays County FFA and 4H kids. That’s the entire purpose of the Ronnie Smith Memorial Buyers Group because that’s what Ronnie would have wanted.
- Now here's a crew that could probably get you in trouble! Jerry Smith, Johnny Rodriquez, Sam Bentley, and James White.

- Ms Darlene! Had to be sneaky to get this one. Every time she saw the camera she tried to hide.....didn't work, but she tried.

What a night! A benefit to raise funds for a great organization benefiting our kids. Sam Bentley and The Honky Tonk Band opened the night with good ol’ country music. The crowd loved it!

Part 3!!!! The proceeds from this fund raiser will ALL be used to benefit the Travis and Hays County FFA and 4H kids. That’s the entire purpose of the Ronnie Smith Memorial Buyers Group because that’s what Ronnie would have wanted.
Kevin Fowler and his band stepped up to the mics and “rocked the house”! We don’t care how tired, down, or depressed you might think you are, these guys will make you smile, laugh and forget all your troubles. Of course, the Kevin had a big surprise for all of us when he got Johnny Rodriquez up on stage to do a few songs with him and the band!
Didn’t get Johnny on video with Kevin, but did get this one. Love “Butter Bean”…..can’t help smiling every time we see/hear Kevin sing it.

The benefit was held to provide purchasing funds for the Bowie FFA….an organization very close to Ronnie’s heart. When the family wanted to do something to honor Ronnie, there wasn’t any question what it would be. There are some things everybody agrees on….Ronnie loved his family, loved South Austin, and loved helping the kids at the FFA farm. He was even dubbed the farm’s “security guard”. :) The benefit was a huge success with the silent auction, the live auction, the live music, and lots of people having fun and wanting to help! Then, we had a special treat! “The Bentley Boys” took over the stage!
- Live auction had a lot of really great items.....and even greater people waiting to bid on them
