Texas, and Austin in particular, is a perfect
place to be if you love music. Austin is billed as the Live Music Capital
of the World. That's a little boastful, but there IS good live
music here every night...and some afternoons! We're lucky because we've
gotten to know several of the musicians. They're special people that can't
decide whether they live to play or play to live. Whichever it is, they
share their talent with us and we are richer for knowing them.
Check out the pictures, then check out the web sites. We hope these pages will show you the fun you can have at live music shows and encourage you to attend some of them. You'll not be disappointed! After you've taken a look at some of our pictures, visit their websites by following the links on the pages or on our Favorite Links page. 06/21/05 - I want to make sure everyone understands that, while these are some of our favorites, they aren't the only great musicians you can see and hear in Texas. There are so many, it's impossible to see them all. Don't wait until you can see these bands to enjoy live music!
