Come on in. Grab a cup of coffee. Sit a spell. Enjoy!
My name is Carole and I have three 'loves' in my life...my family...Texas...live music. In 2004, I started this website as a place to share all of my 'loves' through stories and and pictures. Since then, it has taken on a life of it's own...mostly about music. So...as the title says....grab a cup of coffee, explore the site, and enjoy.
Update: November 21, 2010 -- Okay.....y'all win. TexasAndMusic.com will be updated. In fact, it's in the process of a MAJOR rewrite! Since this is going to take time, we're leaving the old site in place and keeping the Facebook page. If you're happy about the update to come.....or would prefer it didn't happen.....you can blame Sam Bentley who took forever to learn the website address and now refuses to give up on it (announces it from the stage every gig!). Of course the other impetus to the change is the fact that Facebook just doesn't always like to co-operate! :) Thanks to everyone that has visited this little site of mine and enjoyed the pictures and the videos. There are some broken links still. A lot of them were fixed, but rather than spend the time to fix the rest (not easy!) we'd rather spend the time creating our new home......that will still have all the old memories....some of which have actually become kind of "historic".....in an odd real-life sort of way. :) So......check out the old memories and stay tuned for the new....hopefully
improved.....website. Visit us on Facebook, too, in
the meantime

www.facebook.com/TexasAndMusic If you're leery of sites like Facebook...don't worry. The TexasAndMusic page is open to everyone !! You do NOT have to sign up for a Facebook account to enjoy the pictures and videos I post unless you want to. If you have or get an account, you'll receive automatic updates when new stuff is posted. Or, just bookmark the page and check back from time to time to see what's new.
Oh, and you can still read some of our old rambling thoughts on
a blog we once tried to write.
