Do concerts by Ray Price go under 'Musicians' or 'Events'? Because, let
me tell you he is still the consummate musician, and having a chance to see him
'up close' again after all these years was definitely an EVENT!!!!!
Seeing him at the historic Floores Store in Helotes, TX, made it perfect. A lot of memories came flooding back! The last time I'd seen Ray was at the Leroy, IL, Fall Festival on a warm and clear night with a million stars in the sky. His son Cliff opened for him and Ray put on a heck of a show. Everything was the same this time except we were in Texas....a BUNCH of years later!!! Four days after this concert, Ray was presented the prestigious Pioneer Award at the 39th Academy of Country Music Awards in Las Vegas. If you missed this show, you missed the chance to see and hear a true Legend!
