There are only a few people that have as much talent for songwriting and guitar playing as Jason.

We first met Jason when he opened for Kevin Fowler at the Tin Star in Giddings.  Jason was on stage when we got to the club.  He saw me taking pictures (what else is new?) and came over after his part of the show and introduced himself.  He only had a few minutes to speak with us, but in that short time, we were as sold on him for his personality as we had been for his talent.

About a month later, Jason played the second show at the Saxon Pub on our birthday.  We were planning a celebration for Teree and I and when we heard Jason was playing, there was no question who we were going to see!  That was the night we met his father, Wes, and sister, Darlene.  They're just as nice as Jason...easy to see where Jason got his personality!  That was also the night we met Wayne Douglas who has become a very dear friend.
