Chris Reeves plays lead guitar with John Arthur Martinez.  Albert plays drums for John Bendele.  But, they both play some gigs on the side and had gotten to know each other through playing together.  In the process, they learned some things about each other beyond their obvious musical talents.  Albert learned Chris has a great voice and would some day like to have his own 'honky-tonk' band.  Chris learned that Albert had a 'gift of gab' and wanted to play 'honky-tonk'.  Match made in heaven!

All they needed was a bass player and somewhere to play.  Well, Gene Kurtz did the honors on bass and Nancy at Giddy Ups provided the venue.  And, on June 7, 2006, the world was introduced to Chris Reeves & The Honky-Tonk Jammers!  Well....maybe not 'the world'.....that's still in the future.....but it might be soon!!
