I first "experienced" Brent Allen and his abilities when he was Vice-President of the Austin Songwriters Group.  In June, 2005, he arranged to have three of our favorites......Dale Watson, Jason Allen, and Hadyn Vitera......do an acoustic song swap at one of the meetings.  Brent didn't sing that evening, but he was a great emcee!

Then, in 2007, I "ran into" Brent again on MySpace.  We exchanged emails about that June night and I was looking forward to seeing this young man perform.  As fate would have it, I kept missing all the gigs.......there were a lot of them!!  I came close at the Blue Santa Breakfast, but the guys played very early and we all know......I don't do "early"!  But, I got to meet them and that was better than actually hearing them play.

When I finally heard them at Giddy Ups, I realized they're a complete package......talented entertainers with lots of personality.

The guys are gaining a lot of recognition and that's going to turn into radio play and even better gigs although they're staying pretty busy as it is.

Watch their schedule and make it a point to not only see these guys, but to meet them!
