Bobby Pounds is one of the 'new' songwriters in Texas.  'New' may not be the proper word....Bobby's been writing successful songs for 10 years.  But, he's 'new' when compared to other Texas songwriters like Willie Nelson and Billy Joe Shaver. ;)

His original music is 'classic country'.  Good old dancin' music that gets your toes to tapping and your hands to clapping all presented with a strong voice he never seems to have to strain like some singers do.

My favorite of his originals is Footsteps Of A Fool.  But, recently, he included several new songs in one of his shows and every one of them is a 'keeper'.

We'll be catching this young man a little more often as he plays around central Texas.

Like most singers, he seems to 'feed' on the crowd reaction.  So, if you see he's scheduled to play some place close to you, make plans to be there, too.  It'll make his job easier and you'll have a evening of great music.
