1/73 Jim Stringer's Country Jam @ Waterloo Icehouse # 100_6489

Jim's Country Jam is always a lot of fun.  We've met a lot of new (to us) musicians, heard a lot of great music, and made friends.

This was Jim's 3rd jam at Waterloo Icehouse.  But it was special for another reason......it was Jim's 60th birthday and Dana planned a heck of a party!

Dana had all kinds of old pictures of Jim around the club and it was fun trying to pick which "child" was Jim.  I didn't get any of them right but use the defense that I haven't known Jim that long and he looks the same today as he did a year ago when we first saw him.  Sounded like a good excuse to me!!  :)

Joe Jerkins was the first to get up and sing.  That's James Shelton on Steel, Jim on lead, Karl Kissee on bass, Johnny Mac on drums and our T on keyboard.
