This is what's great about Austin!

I'd spent the afternoon in South Austin enjoying the harmonies of The Hummingbirds  at Central Market (see pictures here).  Now I was in North Austin at Brentwood Tavern for the Country Jam.

This is one of the neatest venues ever in Austin.....good food and good music all rolled into one!!

At the Country Jam, you might see long time musicians like Jody Meredith in this picture, or new musicians just trying to break through.  But they are ALL good and ALL country.
