This was the night to really celebrate my birthday.  Friday night and I was going to get to see two of my favorite bands.  First, Jim was playing an early show at Patsy's Cowgirl Cafe.

Besides loving Jim and the guys, I love this venue!  The staff is great, the food is wonderful, and it's the most comfortable venue I've visited in a long time.  Oh, don't let the Jack-A-Lope peering over Jim's shoulder worry you.  His eyes seem to follow you around the club!  But, he's harmless......I think. :)

You never know what Jim and his AM Band are going to come up with next.  As I left to go meet Sam & Yvonne at The Stardust Club, they were doing "Slowpoke" which brought back so many memories.  Dad used to always sing that song to me. I was always the last one to be ready....a trait I've managed to keep all these years!
