Linda was visiting Austin for her birthday and we decided to not only spend a lot of time visiting and resting, but seeing and hearing great musicians.

So.....on her birthday.....we managed to find three of our favorites.

First, downtown to see Haydn Vitera, then way out north for Dave Jorgenson.

Now, we were back downtown at Fado's to see Billy Dee out on the patio.  It was a beautiful spring night under the big Texas sky......it was a perfect ending to the night.
 

Billy and the guys were what really made it perfect.  I've never seen them that they didn't make me smile,  If you like good ol' honky-tonk, you'd better make it a point to catch these guys live or at least buy their CD.
