I almost didn't go to Freddie's because it was hot...theatening to rain, and no one was available to go with me.  But, darn it, it had been a heck of a week at work and I decided listening to music would be a good relaxer!

After driving around the parking lot 3 or 4 times, I decided the secret to Freddie's is to get there early....not just as the music is starting!  Once I got inside, there was plenty of room.

As I was taking the seat offered me by the hostess I realized the lead player with Billy was none other than Pete Mitchell.....which meant the lady sitting down by the stage had to be his lovely wife, Paula.

Bless Paula's heart, she let me join her so not only did I have someone fun to sit and visit with, I had an up close seat to all the action and the music.  From that point on, all I can say is that the evening was magic!

Besides all the great music, I even got a lesson in guitars from Pete....the 'master' himself! 

(I apologize for the pictures being a little blurry....I was trying a new option on the camera in an effort to reduce the amount of distraction a flash causes.  Looks like I need to practice a little!)
