John and the guys were scheduled to play at Hills...on the big stage out under the old oak trees.  But, it's spring in Texas and after a year long 'dought', it rained (okay....it stormed!) and they were moved inside.

The room may have been a little crowded, but the there was still a some dancing room, good food, and lots of good friends.

Besides being treated to 'our guys', the audience got to enjoy Haydn Vitera on fiddle.  The evening was topped off when Gene Kurtz & Charlie Pritchard stopped in and Gene joined the band on bass for the last set.

The band has been playing quite a bit lately so if you're in the area, stop in one of their shows.  I think you'll enjoy yourself and become fans like we are.  If you don't live in the Texas area, you can still enjoy their music by visiting their website and ordering their cd Texas As Texas Can Be.
