We always want to go see Sam and the guys play, but tonight was extra special.  It was a party for Dobie's birthday, and, we were going to have a chance to congratulate Jim on his latest honor.

The band gave Dobie the neatest card and Yvonne surprised her with her famous chocolate sheet cake.  Dobie was tickled pink and enjoyed every minute.

Jim was extremely modest about having been inducted into the Texas Steel Guitar Hall of Fame the previous weekend.  But, we didn't care.....we honored him anyway!

I guess you're just gonna have to check out all the pictures to see the goings on.
