The Star of Texas Rodeo!!  One of the many premier events that take place during March in Austin.  The Chute Club at the end of the main arena is open for fun and entertainment almost every night during the rodeo with entertainment after the main arena concert.  Last year the guys played two nights in the Founders Club, but this was much better!  Besides, it was Dobie's actual birthday!

There were many highlights during the evening, but, probably the biggest was Hadley Barrett joining John on stage for a few classic tunes.  For those of you who haven't been around rodeos a lot, Hadley was the TV announcer for ESPN and the National Finals Rodeo for 21 years.  He won the "PCRA Announcer of the Year" awards in 1983, 1985, 1999, and 2002.  He was inducted into the ProRodeo Hall of Fame in 1999.  This is a mighty special celebrity onstage with some mighty special musicians!   What a treat!!
