We haven't been going out a lot in the middle of the week.  But, this was different.  Kevin has been pulling huge crowds and about the only place he can play Club 21 where....he says.....it all started, is to play on a Thursday night with advance ticket sales.  We had ours the day they went on sale!!

Even with it being the holidays, the middle of the week, and the schools being on break, the place was packed.  Not a surprise since the night before he had played San Antonio to a crowd of 3,800!

Bobby Pounds opened and I'd gotten several pictures of him and his band.  While I was up at the stage getting those pictures, I found a perfect perch for taking pictures of Kevin's show.  As the bands were switching out, I moved to my perch.  The idea was that I'd get a few pictures of each of the guys and then move out for the rest of the crowd to take over.  But, when I turned to move away I found I was blocked!  The crowd had moved up behind me when I wasn't looking and there wasn't an 'escape route'!  What to do?  Well....relax, enjoy the show, and take more pictures!!  That's what I did!!  As a result, there are more pictures of Kevin and the guys of this show than I had taken of any other!!  I hope you enjoy them.

One thing I learned.....Kevin still puts on one of the most energetic shows we've ever seen.

If you have a chance, get out to one of his shows!!  You won't be sorry....especially if you get there early enough to get a good 'perch'!!
