The guys were playing in Lampasas.....Albert's home town.  Of course we were going to be there!  Teree drove down and met us which made the evening special for Dobie.  And, it was great to meet Albert's parents and have the chance to tell them just how much Albert and Laurie mean to us....along with the rest of the band and their fans!

But, I'd say the band has an extra fan-base in Lampasas.  Now, a lot of people are going to come out to see the 'home town' fella at least once.  But, this wasn't the first time the band had played at the Amvets and the club was still filled!

The highlight of the evening was Albert's dad joining the band with his accordion!

It was worth the 1 1/2 hour drive through traffic to experience this.  We just may have to go back the next time the 'Bendele Boys' invade Lampasas!  ;)
