You just never know who you'll run into these days.

We'd gone to Gruene Hall on Sunday afternoon to see John Arthur Martinez when we heard someone calling our name.  There was Ricky with some friends from Corpus Christie.

We had a nice visit with Ricky....and apologized for totally messing up and missing his birthday party the night before.  But, he was sweet and forgave us....making sure we knew where we could see his next show!  ;)

When I asked to take this picture, he made a comment about it going on the website and something about 'royalties'?  Of course I explained to him that I couldn't pay him royalties.....I have too many pictures and I ain't that rich!  ;)

Seriously, it was great to see him and we will be at his next show....just like you should if you can!  Ricky believes in entertaining his audience and staying true to his music.  He does a great job of both.  Check his website to find out when he's playing close to you......as I've said before.....you won't be disappointed!
