Giddy Ups had hosted a Tolbert Chili Cook-off in the afternoon and asked Sam
and the guys to provide the entertainment for the evening. What a
treat! A lot of the cookers stayed and the place was packed.
Something every band likes to see whether they're in a small honky-tonk or a
large arena!There was even a couple we met that had traveled all the way from Pennsylvania to visit in Texas and had dropped in because they wanted to see a Texas Honky Tonk....well, they came on the right night! Sure hope they come back again and join in all the fun. The picture above is one we took trying to help Sam get a new band picture for his webpage. It wasn't the best one taken, and I'm sure Yvonne got some better ones, but it's still nice having a picture of all the guys without a microphone, speaker, symbol, or someone's head getting in the way!
