I love going to the Stardust Club.....when there's a good band, of course!  It isn't a big ol' Texas Dancehall and it doesn't really fit the definition of 'honky-tonk'.  But....it's a 'neighborhood' bar located in South Austin, where we can always count on seeing and visiting with lots of old friends.  This night wasn't any different!

We'd missed seeing Lorene on her birthday the week before so we had to celebrate!  Don and Beverly joined in before he begins his annual 'I can't cause I'm hunting' phase.  Long time friends of Yvonne surprised her.  New friends that we'd met last week, Jerry and Kristen, joined our table (I had fun filling her in on all the 'history').  I'm not going to try and mention everyone because I'll accidentally forget someone!  Just let it suffice that it was a party like 'the old days'.  ;)

I'd forgotten to recharge the camera battery so it 'died' before midnight.  You'll just have to take my word that on the last song of the night (15 minutes after the band was supposed to quit) there were more dancers on the floor than on the first song.  That's what happens when you combine good music and good friends.
