Since we last saw Kevin, he's successfully toured outside the state of Texas, gotten a video on CMT and GAC, appeared with several big name acts, and been drawing larger crowds than ever before.  But, we still think of him as 'ours'!

When we saw he was going to be playing Floore Country Store in Helotes, we knew we'd be there.  Thankfully it was on a Saturday so we could get an early start.  We got there early so we could be sure of being close enough to actually see him!  ;)

Becky and Carrie joined us for their first 'Kevin show'.  They were blown away by the size of the crowd (2,500? 3,000?).  We'd told them Kevin calls Dobie and I 'Thelma and Louise'...not sure we were believable 'til Kevin did it in front of them!

Ardys was there as well.  She usually rides her motorcycle to Kevin's shows, but, didn't this night since it was going to be a 'late night'.  She'd just gotten back from a 'cycle trip to Canada.  She's a very young 70+ lady that's a joy to visit with.

One thing was proven....Kevin is still 'ours'.  By 'ours', I mean all of Texas.  And, he's still the same.  Talented, energetic, friendly, and down to earth.  He deserves all the success he's work so hard to achieve!
