The opening night of the annual Spring Ho BBQ Cook-off in Lampasas.  This was also the first year they'd had live music and once the sun had set so the temperature dropped a little, the crowd showed their appreciation by dancing the night away.

It was also the first night the long-awaited CD was available.  There was a rush in the crowd for that!  After all, not only is the band great....the drummer is a home town boy.

We even got a picture of the next generation Perez drummer!

There were a couple of guest performances.  A member of the audience sang Waltz Across Texas for us.  Albert Sr. treated us to some great accordion on several songs including Kevin Fowler's Senorita Mas Fina.

Albert went a little crazy on his drum solo and was into Wipe-Out before we knew what was happening.  Then, his dad sat down and treated us to one more!
