The Floores Store in Helotes is very old.....very historic.  It has been taken over by people that are keeping the traditions while making it, once again, a home for live music.  We've been to several shows there, and I think they're accomplishing their goal.  When we heard the guys were playing there on a Friday, it seemed like the perfect place to go on a December night.

It was a small crowd, but they were certainly friendly.  Dobie and I weren't the only Austin-ites to show up so it was kind of like 'home'.  We also saw some people we'd met the previous week at the Fan Appreciation show.

The lead guitar player and drummer from the Drew Womack band were in the audience and Dale asked them to join in for a few songs.  The lead player is about 7' tall.  I tried to get pictures to show that, but it just doesn't translate in photos like it did in person!  He had to 'duck' to keep from hitting his head on stuff hanging from the ceiling.  Maybe that's why all the pictures show him kind of bent over!

As usual, we had fun and were glad we'd driven the 60 or 70 miles to be there.
